
General Pest Inspection
Great for when preparing to buy a new home or if you think you might have some critters lurking in your attic. The first step in any pest control exercise is a thorough inspection to determine what pest we are dealing with, where they may be hiding and to what level the infestation has reached.
HOW CAN AN INFESTATION BE DETECTED?
An infestation can be detected by looking for evidence of or damage caused by a pest. Most pests leave a trail of evidence behind them. This may take the form of staining due to excrement, secretions, shed skin or shells from their growth process. Pests can also cause damage and knowing which pests are capable of what damage is key to determining which pest is inhabiting your home or business. Our trained and experienced eye knows where to look based on the habits of the pest in question.
WHAT KIND OF DAMAGE CAN PESTS CAUSE IF NOT TREATED PROMPTLY?
Insect pests can cause a great deal of damage. Extreme wood boring insect infestations can have a negative impact on the structure of your home and bedbugs/cockroaches can significantly stain and contaminate your furniture and appliances. Wildlife intruders can cause a magnitude of damage and bio-hazard in your attic or walls and rodents can chew through your electrical wiring in your home. Best to take action as soon as an issue become apparent to reduce these costly repairs and replacements.
HOW LONG DOES A GENERAL INSPECTION TAKE?
A general inspection can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours based on the size of the property/structure and pest in question. ​
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM A GENERAL INSPECTION?
After an inspection is done we will communicate with you our plan of action and what you can do to help the process leading up to treatment and post treatment. We will also provide a written report re-iterating the conversation so you have a record of the findings and next steps!
